& your neck, arms, legs and moreMedical Massage Therapy for Greater Cincinnati & Southern Ohio
Hi, I’m Cathy Burdsall, LMT.
I have been a Licensed Medical Massage Therapist in the state of Ohio since 1995.
Through years of training and research in massage and physical therapy, I have built a fairly large arsenal of therapeutic techniques to help relieve pain and discomfort from recent injury or chronic pain. These techniques include trigger point therapy, muscle stripping techniques, facilitated stretching, MET (muscle energy technique), myofascial release, and others. All techniques are applied to the pain tolerance level of each client.
Some chronic pain can be due to mental stress as well. Stressful situations have an effect on our bodies as well as our minds. In this case, along with muscle therapy, I employ several energy techniques and craniosacral therapy to help disconnect the stress pattern that has made itself at home in your body and on your mind.

SERVICES
90 Minute Massage
The ultimate in therapy and relaxation. A 90 minute massage gives me enough time to work on concerns you may have, or issues that come up during the session. It can also leave time for some deep relaxation.
60 Minute Massage
Very helpful in both relaxation and therapy.
I usually ask if there is an area that needs more focus, and I will tailor the massage according to that request.
30 Minute Massage
30 minute massage. This time frame is for targeting very specific issues. e.g. neck and shoulders.
Don’t expect too much relaxation, though. Nobody can relax in 30 minutes.
Raindrop Therapy
A wonderfully relaxing massage incorporating essential oils to help with viral, bacterial, and microbial issues to strengthen the immune system.
30 minute percussion therapy

Frequently Asked Questions
What Forms of Payments Do You Accept?Do You Accept Gratuities?
I accept credit cards, cash, or check. I never turn down money, tips are greatly appreciated but not at all expected.
What Should I Wear for My Massage?
I may ask you to wear yoga type clothes if the session calls for stretching or other therapy of that nature. As far as clothing during the massage, I want you to feel comfortable, so disrobe to your comfort level. Clients are under a blanket and sheet at all times.
What is the Difference Between Swedish Massage and a Deep Tissue?
Swedish massage is more what one would consider “relaxation” massage. Enough pressure to effect change in the superficial muscle and skin. Deep tissue goes deeper getting to those “knots”. All types of therapy is to the level of pain tolerance for the client.
How often should I come for therapy or relaxation?
If you don’t have a serious issue, I suggest maintenance be once per month. If you have a chronic problem, you may need to come more often.
